IRAN: EUROPEAN PARLIAMENT DISCUSSES PRESIDENTIAL ELECTIONS: "Brussels, 29 June (AKI) �On the intiative of the European Green Party, European parliamentarians and representatives of Iranian civil society, a conference began on Wednesday morning at the European parliament in Brussels to discuss the results of the recent presidential elections in Iran, which saw the election of ultra-conservative Mahmoud Ahmadinejad as Iran's new president. Divided into four round tables, were poets, writers, human rights activits, judges, journalists and researchers, addressing the issue of Iran and its future relations with the European Union. "
